The bottom line, Mr. Hess, is that your agency -- fronting for the waste industry -- is bullying unwilling rural communities into being disposal sites for toxic/pathogenic sewage sludge from urban and industrial sources. The evidence is overwhelming that land application of sewage sludge makes many people ill and contaminates surface and ground water -- not to mention all the family pets and farm animals around the country which have been sickened or killed. The issue here is credibility. On the one hand, the hollow "no harm" denials of the profit-driven waste industry, their bought and paid for "experts", and their facilitators in the EPA and state agencies . . . and on the other hand, Dr. Lewis' peer reviewed, published research and my 370+ page victims report. Simply stated -- most people believe us -- not you.
